Installed during last winter on the French ski area, the various innovative solutions of the Obell’X range are experiencing their first winter season of experimentation allowing better knowledge and continuous improvement of the product in real conditions as well as a snow data collection. A win-win situation for MND and Les 7 Laux, committed to avalanche risk prevention. 

Pioneer and historical leader of non-explosive preventive avalanche triggering systems for more than 30 years, MND SAFETY continues to innovate by developing its O’BellX range to double its power with the O’BellX option +. Installed and commissioned on 7 sites around the world, Les 7 Laux is one of the dedicated testing areas for this innovation.

While weather conditions were particularly conducive to avalanche triggering, MND SAFETY teams alongside managers on site were able to carry out numerous preventive actions to ensure safety on the slopes, for skiers, teams but also for infrastructures while collecting a large amount of technical information on the Obell’x option+ product.
