The automatic locking/unlocking hook patented by MND allows the O’BellX™ active module to be docked and removed from its support post (classic or Option+) by helicopter in a single rotation without any human involvement.

The MULTISYNC® option patented by MND performs simultaneous explosions (at the same time) or synchronised explosions (successive with a 0 to 5-second delay between each explosion) for 2 to 10 O’BellX™ /O’BellX™ Option+ systems, which significantly accelerates avalanche prevention drills and reduces slope/access road closures.

The Option+ support post includes a cone shell that doubles the amount of gas mixture available to the system when triggering an explosion, which doubles the effect of the blast compared to the standard O’BellX™ module. The total height of the support post can be chosen during installation depending on the terrain and the area’s historical snow conditions to ensure that the point of explosion is set at the most effective elevation.
