La Rosière celebrated on March 28th the inauguration of its brand new fixed-grip chairlift “Le Dahu“, designed by MND. In the presence of prominent figures such as the Mayor of Montvalezan, Mr. Jean-Claude Fraissard, and the CEO of the SOFIVAL group, Mr. Jean-François Blas, the event was marked by a festive atmosphere and great enthusiasm. As is customary, guests had the honor of receiving unique paintings, crafted by BlackPeuf, immortalizing the collaboration between the resort and the industrial group.
This new chairlift, operational since the beginning of the winter season, replaces the ski lift of the same name. Its main objective is to streamline the flow of skiers while improving the customer experience. Additionally, it opens up new access possibilities from the hamlet of Eucherts, thus providing greater accessibility to the ski area.
During the inauguration, Jean Regaldo, the station director, emphasized, “This MND construction was designed with particular attention to environmental respect; the manufacturer is headquartered in France and produces a large part of its products in France, in its factory next to Montmélian in Savoie.“
Roland Didier, CEO of the MND Group, expressed his gratitude to SOFIVAL for their trust and strong partnership, emphasizing the importance of promoting French technology globally.
With the inauguration of the “Dahu,” La Rosière 1850 marks a significant milestone in its development, offering skiers an enhanced and secure experience while consolidating its reputation as a premier mountain destination.
