A new MND T-Bar for Waterville Valley Resort

As part of its infrastructure improvement program, Waterville Valley Resort has chosen MND to design and install a new T-Bar, enhancing skier accessibility and athlete training.

With 678 meters in length, 183 meters of vertical rise, and a speed of 2.5 m/s, this new lift will ensure a smooth and efficient ascent for both athletes and recreational skiers. Its capacity of 1,100 passengers per hour makes it a solution perfectly suited to the resort’s needs.

Designed for Performance and Comfort

This T-Bar will replace two existing lifts: the World Cup T-Bar, which served most of Tommy’s World Cup Run, and the Exhibition Platter Lift, which provided access to the Exhibition trail.

“This new T-Bar will significantly improve our ability to support training camps, race and freestyle programs, while also providing better access for recreational skiers.” – Tim Smith, President & General Manager of Waterville Valley Resort

Opening Scheduled for the 2025-2026 Season

With its launch planned for December 2025, this project aligns with Waterville Valley Resort’s modernization and innovation efforts. MND Ropeways is proud to contribute to this transformation, bringing its expertise in cable transport to deliver a seamless and high-performance skiing experience.
