MND announces the signing of a new four-season rail coaster project on the Plateau d’Hauteville, developed by BAGHAIRA Group, investor and project owner. Construction is due to begin shortly, with the attraction expected to open to the public by the end of 2026.

Designed to blend seamlessly into its surroundings, this future installation will offer an experience that is both fun, accessible and thrilling, featuring more than 1 km of track, speeds of up to 40 km/h and a capacity of nearly 300 sleds per hour.

Representing an investment of around €3 million, the project is part of a broader strategy to diversify the tourism offering and develop year-round activities, in close proximity to the Lyon metropolitan area.

A proven solution supporting destination attractiveness

Developed by MND, the Fun Coaster rail coaster is based on a lightweight monorail technology designed to integrate smoothly into the landscape and adapt to all types of terrain.

Each installation is fully customizable, with layouts featuring turns, twists and jumps to create a unique experience for every site, while ensuring a high level of safety and reliability through automated control and integrated braking systems.

Designed for intensive use, the solution enables optimized operations, with a lift system directly integrated into the track to ensure both smooth operation and high performance.

With this new contract, MND continues to expand its Fun Coaster solution, already in operation in Bosco Gurin and soon to be operational in Massanutten and Chimgan.

This project will be the fourth four-season rail coaster delivered by MND, and the first to be installed in the Jura Mountains.

Designed and manufactured in France, the Fun Coaster solution is part of MND’s broader approach to developing innovative, sustainable tourism activities tailored to the specific challenges of each destination.
