Chamrousse zipline: great success for the first summer of operation
Open since June 17, 2023, the world’s longest zip line with pylons has been a great success since its commissioning.
Opened on July 12 and open continuously throughout the summer, the Chamrousse zip line experienced its first summer of operation with more than 3,600 people having used, alone or in pairs, this new thrilling infrastructure located on the Croix de Chamrousse plateau. With numerous reservations and sometimes more than 70 flights per day, the activity saw record attendance for this first summer. An infrastructure which has found its place among the public, more and more people enjoying the mountains in summer, and a challenge taken up for the teams of the Chamrousse ski resort management who have adopted this new equipment. The zipline also benefits the new Casserousse Himalayan footbridge, also put into service this summer by MND teams. These new 4-season activities help boost attendance at the resort throughout the year by supporting its attractiveness and supporting the diversification of its offering.
Open every weekend in September, the zip line will once again welcome the public every day from December 2, 2023 to April 14, 2024.
