At the INTERALPIN 2025 trade fair in Innsbruck, Austria, MND SNOW – the snowmaking division of the MND Group – unveils a strategic and technological overhaul of its product offering with a new range of snow guns and the introduction of a new fan snowmaker, redesigned to deliver optimal performance at marginal temperatures.
Taurus, the benchmark lance snow gun, gives birth to a new range
For over 15 years, the Taurus snow lance has been recognized as a market leader in automatic snowmaking. Renowned for its robustness, reliability, and performance, it has been adopted by leading ski resorts worldwide, often considered “the best lance on the market” due to its high production capacity.
Building on this legacy, MND has completely redesigned its range, leveraging Taurus’ historical strengths while integrating the latest operational expectations: modularity, retrofitting, improved marginal temperature performance, and adaptation to new production constraints.
Based on the Taurus architecture, this new range ensures interoperability, simplified maintenance, and easy integration into existing installations. It also features integrated solenoid valves for more responsive control and lighter snowmaking heads.
MND unveils IZO°, a new generation fan snow gun
The MND SNOW teams are proud to announce the launch of a completely redesigned fan snowmaker. Delivering +20 to +30% higher production than a standard fan snowmaker in marginal conditions, it’s ideal for lower-altitude areas or sites with limited hydraulic pressure. The machine combines a new design—better suited for environmental integration—with major technological advances, while preserving MND SNOW fan snowmakers’ core strengths: robustness, reliability, and easy maintenance.
This new model complements the current range, allowing operators to select the solution best suited to their terrain and energy constraints.
“With this new range of lances and our new fan snowmaker, we offer ski resorts increased adaptability to today’s climate challenges. These solutions were designed to meet the rising demands of operators, who must now maximize production in increasingly shorter weather windows. Reliable, high-performance, and durable, this equipment reflects our vision: anticipating our customers’ evolving needs by delivering ever more agile and efficient technologies.” – Stéphane GAL, Director of MND SNOW
Key Features:
With this double innovation, MND reaffirms its position as a global player in snowmaking, combining performance, adaptability, and sustainability. These new systems integrate seamlessly with MND SNOW’s centralized management tools, including the SNOW-cs software, helping ski resorts enhance energy efficiency and operational flexibility.
