The A3 (American Avalanche Association) is the reference organization in the United States for the study of avalanches. The association created in 1986 is committed to three key initiatives: research, education and awareness, to provide professionals and amateurs alike better understanding of avalanche risk and sharing of the best practices.
As a pioneer in non-explosive preventive avalanche triggering, MND has extended its support for the A3 to 2023. Committed to the themes of risk prevention, on-site operator training or the protection of natural sites, the renewal of the partnership between MND and the A3 also provides awareness-raising workshops and technical days with professionals in the United States.
In the United States, MND SAFETY is present with more than 200 remote avalanche triggering systems by gas mixture and supporting transport departments of the states of California, Colorado and Utah by securing their roads and highways, ski resorts but also industrial sites.
