The context of this recruitment:
As part of a job creation following an internal reorganization, we are looking for a profile of SAFETY PRODUCT TECHNICAL EXPERT F/H.

Your reporting line and team
Reporting directly to the Director of Safety Commercial Engineering

Your main mission
Your mission is to develop the range of solutions by working scientifically and technically on Safety products (avalanche risks) and their recognition on the various applications. 

Your responsibilities in detail

• Think about the evolution of the product range and the solutions of tomorrow in partnership with internal departments and by establishing academic and technological partnerships,
• Work with the marketing department to enhance the value of existing solutions,
• Carry out a competitive watch on the technical and qualitative positioning of our solutions,
• Provide technical support to the sales force when necessary,
• Be the worldwide reference for the avalanche risk management ecosystem,
• Implementing avalanche risk management systems in the field,
• To ensure a role of advice/technical recommendations, assistance and training,
• To carry out calculations and modelling of the effects of products on snow cover,
• Participate in the management of the innovation process. Propose, lead and control the R&D plan for the product range,
• Promote scientifically the solutions of the product range,
• Ensure the network and the lobbying towards all the stakeholders, the opinion leader

Language skills required
Fluent English
German is a plus

Very good command of the office suite (word, excel, powerpoint, …)
Use of computer and digital tools

The profile we are interested in
Diploma(s) + experience(s)
Holder of a Bac+ 5 level education, Engineer, you have 10 years of experience in the product expertise sector, within a mountain environment.

Know-how
Scientific mastery of gas mixtures, wave diffusion, mechanics, electronics….
Strong experience in avalanche risk analysis
Good level of mountain practice, mountaineering and skiing

Personal skills
Good communication and presentation/synthesis skills
