AI-powered maintenance: MND deploys a 24/7 technical assistant for ski resort operators

MND is taking a new step in transforming its customer service by deploying an artificial intelligence solution dedicated to technical support. Developed in partnership with the Savoy-based company Lyha, this tool analyzes the Group’s entire technical documentation to deliver reliable, contextualized answers to field teams—anytime, anywhere.

An AI designed for field operations

Based on a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture, MND’s technical assistant leverages technical documentation, user manuals, maintenance records, and operating guides to provide answers tailored to operators’ needs.

Available 24/7 and in multiple languages, it supports teams in their day-to-day operations—from troubleshooting and parameter optimization to maintenance procedures and safety guidelines.

Working alongside MND’s support teams, it provides an immediate first level of response that can be directly applied in the field.

Tangible benefits for operators

By streamlining access to technical knowledge, this solution significantly improves operational performance.

It helps reduce equipment downtime, enhances intervention safety, and supports more reliable decision-making—even in demanding conditions or peak operational periods.

A sovereign and secure solution

All data and software solutions developed within this project are hosted and processed in France. This ensures full control over strategic data, while meeting the highest standards of confidentiality and digital sovereignty.

A lever for sustainable performance

This initiative is fully aligned with MND’s “Yes We Care 2030” CSR strategy. By enabling more preventive maintenance and better-prepared interventions, it contributes to optimizing resource usage, reducing unnecessary operations, and improving operator safety.

Ultimately, it supports a more sustainable management of mountain infrastructure.

“An immediate and reliable first level of response”

“ Our clients operate critical infrastructure, often in challenging conditions and across extended timeframes. With this new solution, we aim to provide them with an immediate, reliable, and globally accessible first level of response, complementing our support teams.”
Xavier Gallot-Lavallée, President of MND

Availability

This new service will be progressively deployed and made available to all MND customers from autumn 2026.
