Since 21 December 2019, the new 1,500-metre-long facility at the Eggli has been successfully commissioned. From Gstaad, the gondola lift with 11 towers and a track width of 6.45 metres can cover a height difference of more than 500 metres. It is Bartholet’s first 10-seats gondola lift in Switzerland. The capacity of the installation is 1,200 people per hour. Thanks to the ideal combination of innovation and comfort, the 20 luxurious panoramic cabins offer a unique travel experience. The equipment is characterised by laminated safety glass and a generous interior design including a voice communication system, WLAN equipment and interior lighting. Even at night, the colour-programmable exterior lighting ensures that every cabin looks special. The battery required for this is installed in the cabin floor.
