In order to test its vehicles in real climatic conditions, the manufacturer FORD used MND SNOW’s snowmaking solutions.
To meet this need, Ford has created a climatic tunnel in Germany that simulates wind, rain and snow in conditions as close to reality as possible. Already having references with BOEING and BMW, Ford entrusted MND SNOW with the realisation of this installation which requires proven expertise and adaptation to this tailor-made project with the development :
- a specific snow gun to meet the customer’s precise needs: rain and snow in variable quantities and quality.
- a machine room integrating a specific process for this application, as well as an adapted control system that allows an interface with Ford’s global test software.
