In order to serve the summits, the Ax-les-Thermes ski area is equipped with a chairlift with reliable technology. With the compact technology and the synchronised loading carpet, skiers enjoy comfort, while the operator is able to carry out maintenance operations in complete safety. With 134 ergonomic and wind-stable seats, the lift aims for high transport capacity – higher than with conventional fixed-grip technology – and increased availability.
