This suspended footbridge, opened in October 2023, connects the île de la Motte in Sauveterre and the île de l’Oiselay in Sorgues. It is 200m long, 3m wide and allows you to cross the Rhône river by ensuring the continuity of the Via Rhôna between Lapalud and Avignon. The MND teams are particularly proud to have carried out the studies as well as the supply of this entire impressive structure.
Intended for pedestrians and cyclists, this work is part of the overall project to develop the last part of the cycle route in Vaucluse and thus encourages the development of soft mobility in the region.
