Open for the 2023 summer season, the zip line is now one of the flagship activities on the Croix de Chamrousse plateau, starting at an altitude of 2,253 metres. With a length of 1,904 metres, a 600-metre drop and peak speeds of up to 80 km/h, it is the world’s longest zip line with intermediate pylons. Featuring the new patented braked carriage system for zip-lines, which allows a descent without stopping at the pylons, the sensations of acceleration are increased tenfold in complete safety. The public can experiment solo or in pairs with a top speed of up to 80 km/h over the slopes of the Chamrousse ski area and an average gradient of 30%. On the last part of the course, riders are invited to smile for the camera, with the chance to take a photo to capture the moment.
