In the heart of the Mont-Blanc Massif, in the commune of Les Contamines Montjoie, a new himalayan footbridge gives access to the Conscrit refuge at 2850m. This refuge gives access to many prestigious routes on the south-western side of the Mont-Blanc such as the Aiguille de la Bérangère, the Dômes de Miage, the Lex Blanche,… An innovative way to respond to the increasing dangers of a zone exposed to rock falls linked to the retreat of the Tré-la-Tête glacier while reducing the risks of accidents in the respect of a remarkable site.
